🐔 Our Story

Big Hearts, Little Critters & a Whole Lot of Feathers! 💜

Andy Roo's Coop Rescue & Sanctuary began with a family, a love for animals, and one simple belief: every animal deserves a second chance—even the ones who scream for breakfast and never pay rent!

What started as a passion for animals grew into a mission to rescue poultry and small farm animals who have been abandoned, neglected, injured, or simply need a fresh start.

From sassy chickens and dramatic ducks to goofy turkeys and furry farmyard friends, we believe every little life matters!

💜 Who's Andy Roo?

Surprise! Andy Roo isn't a chicken!

Our name comes from our two children: Andy from our son, Andyn, and Roo from our daughter, Aysa, affectionately known as "Aysa Roo."

We wanted to create something that reflects our family's values of kindness, compassion, and standing up for those who can't speak for themselves—even if they can squawk pretty loudly!

🐣 Small Beginnings, Big Dreams!

Today, we're a growing, family-founded nonprofit dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, rehoming, and providing lifelong sanctuary for poultry and small farm animals in need.

Some of our residents find loving forever homes, while others stay with us for life. Either way, they get the care, safety, and love they deserve.

We're building our dream one coop, one critter, and one second chance at a time.

We may not be able to save every animal, but we can change the whole world for the ones we do.

Rescue. Heal. Rehome. Love. Repeat. 💜

Because behind every purple door, there's hope, a second chance, and probably a chicken judging you! 🐔
